Mahesh Babu and Keerthy Suresh-starrer Sarkaru Vaari Paata directed by Parasuram is releasing on May 12, 2022, and the pre-release event of the film was held in Hyderabad on Saturday. Directors Sukumar, Vamsi Paidipally, Anil Ravipudi, Meher Ramesh, Gopichand Malineni, were all present at the event, where people spoke as follows: Sukumar (Director): I’ve never seen Mahesh Babu look this cute and playful on screen before. The credit goes entirely to Bujji (Parasuram) for this. I’ve known Bujji for a long time, since the time he started out as an assistant director. I love his dialogues and he’s one of the best writers we have in the industry today. I was impressed by his sensitive writing for the emotional scenes in ‘Geeta Govindam’. When such a writer makes a mass film, the result will be nothing short of spectacular. I worked with Mahesh for ‘1-Nenokkadine’. It’s an unforgettable experience working with him because he makes the director feel like the ‘king’ on location. Coming to ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’ songs, my favourites are ‘Kalaavathi’ and ‘Ma …Ma…Mahesha’. Ananth Sriram (Lyricist): I need to speak a few words about the music composer Thaman. He is a person who had to shoulder the responsibility for his family since the tender age of eleven. That’s why he treats everyone with great respect, lyricists, musicians and singers, because he knows the value of hard work. He makes us stay with him in star hotels and we travel business class along with him. He is such a gem of a person. When I asked director Parasuram if I could experiment a bit when writing the songs, he encouraged me saying Mahesh Babu would love it. It has been a privilege working with such a team. Anil Ravipudi (Director): I know the kind of struggle that director Parasuram has gone through to put this film together. His hard work will definitely bear fruit. The music is definitely a huge asset to this film. If the music is successful, half the job is done but Thaman has ensured that the movie has the right blockbuster vibes. Keerthy Suresh: I’d like to thank the producers Mythri Movie Makers. I was supposed to work with them a few times but things didn’t work out and I’m happy that my journey with them has started finally with ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’. Director Parasuram used to call me ‘Rashmika’ on location by mistake. When he does his next film with Rashmika, I hope he’ll call her Keerthy. Jokes apart, I’m grateful to Parasuram for giving me the role of ‘Kalaavathi’. On location, I used to worry about matching the timing of Mahesh Babu. When I was dubbing for my role, the worry was whether I would able to match his glamour. Now my tension is whether Mahesh Babu’s fans will allow me to speak. I’d personally like to thank Mahesh garu’s real life Kalaavathi, Mrs Namrata Shirodkar, who was a huge support for me from the beginning of this film. Mahesh Babu: I want to thank Parasuram who designed an extraordinary character for me in the film. Be it my body language, modulation or dialogue delivery, it’s become one of my favourite characters. I enjoyed working on this film a lot. Some scenes reminded me of the time when I was doing ‘Pokiri’. There are many highlights in the film one of which is the ‘hero-heroine’ track. There will be repeat audiences especially for this track. Keerthy has been an amazing co-star always accommodating us with her dates whenever we asked her. Thaman is a music sensation. I’m a big fan of his background music especially. For one song in the movie, we needed a set in only 10 days and art director Prakash delivered. Stunt masters Ram and Lakshman are my favourite. Even now, I can’t identify between Ram and Lakshman. Their beauty is that they take such good care of their fighters along with me. That’s why they are at the top in their field. These last three years have been extremely challenging for everyone. I’ve lost people extremely close to me. But the support of my fans has been unconditional and their love for me is what gives me the strength to keep moving ahead. Parasuram: After ‘Geeta Govindam’, I wanted to approach Mahesh Babu with the script of ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’ and it was Koratala Siva who made it possible. I wholeheartedly thank him. I was scared to narrate the story to Mahesh because he was such a big star. But five minutes into the narration, I saw a smile on his face. That smile has brought us all together here. Mahesh garu had messaged me saying, “I want the biggest blockbuster Parasuram”. I hope I have lived up to the trust reposed in me by Mahesh garu. I have given this movie my all. I’d like to thank my direction team who have travelled with me these three-and-a-half years and faced all trials and tribulations with me. Ram-Lakshman (Action Choreographers): This is our fourth film with Mahesh Babu. When Parasuram first approached us, we thought the script would be something like ‘Geeta Govindam’, but we were amazed after listening to it. It’s a completely different script unlike any that we or Mahesh Babu has done in his career.
