The director debunked a speculative Tweet by a Media outletOver a decade after delivering the blockbuster ‘Gabbar Singh’, the trio - Pawan Kalyan, Harish Shankar, and Devi Sri Prasad are coming together for ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’. The untethered success of the 2012 film has immensely increased the expectations surrounding the upcoming movie. However, ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’ has been embroiled in controversy since the day it was announced. Recently, Mythri Movie Makers confirmed that the shoot for the movie will begin soon, reigniting speculations surrounding the project. While it is a known fact that ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’ is a remake of the 2016 Tamil blockbuster ‘Theri’ starring Thalapathy Vijay, Harish Shankar has reportedly changed the script to adapt it to the Telugu audience. An entertainment media outlet reported that some of these changes made to the script include swapping the daughter’s role with that of a son and changing the hero’s career from being a baker to that of a lecturer as shown in 'Theri'.The filmmaker, who is an active Twitter user, was irked at the speculation and debunked the rumour by responding to the Media outlet’s Tweet with, “Not True Sir. As u know am active in twitter you could have asked me before posting; (sic)”Harish Shankar is currently busy overseeing the set construction for the upcoming movie and is working closely with art director Anand Sai and cinematographer Bose to complete the pre-production works. The filming will reportedly start on April 5, after Pawan Kalyan wraps up the shooting of ‘#PKSDT’ the official Telugu remake of 'Vinodhaya Sitham' co-starring his nephew Sai Dharam Tej.
