The ‘Veera Simha Reddy’ director talks about Nandamuri Balakrishna’s love for the late Sr NTRNandamuri Balakrishna’s Veera Simha Reddy made its way to the silver screens worldwide, today. The action drama has opened to a mixed response at the box office, the majority of which have been positive. While the Telugu States and theatres abroad are engulfed in a state of euphoria, Veera Simha Reddy’s director Gopichand Malineni talked about the movie’s lead - Balakrishna. At a media interaction, filmmaker Gopichand addressed the audience’s outpour of love for ‘Veera Simha Reddy’ and also talked about the admiration Balayya holds for the late legendary actor NT Rama Rao. “Everyone opines that it's Balayya Babu’s good luck to be born as Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao's child. But, I believe it is his (NTR's) luck to have a son like Balayya Babu. Balayya spends every minute, hour, and every day, remembering him (Sr NTR). I have never seen someone love their father as much as Balayya does,” stated Gopichand. Time and again, Balayya has voiced his love for his father NT Rama Rao on numerous occasions. Balayya also played the lead in NTR’s two-part biopic - NTR: Kathanayakudu and NTR: Mahanayakudu. Helmed by Krish Jagarlamudi, the 2019 flicks were released a month apart and the plot focused on NTR's personal, professional (as an artist), and political career.
