Now a leading dance choreographer in the South, Prem Rakshit Master once contemplated suicide in order to save his family People who’ve watched RRR would definitely agree that the "Naatu Naatu" dance number is one of the highpoints of the film. Ram Charan and Jr NTR matched steps to the choreography of Prem Rakshit Master, one of the leading dance choreographers in the South today. However, life hasn’t always been a bed of roses for him. He revealed recently that at one point of time, he was under so much financial stress that he decided to take his own life thinking that it would benefit of his family. Those were the days when his family struggled to make ends meet and Rakshit couldn’t get a job. He then thought that if he committed suicide, his family would get Rs 5000 as compensation from the Dance Union Federation. “I borrowed a cycle from a friend and went to the Marina Beach in Chennai to commit suicide but then realised my parents would be held accountable for the bicycle. So, I returned home to leave the cycle and when I was walking back to the beach my father called me and said there was an opportunity to work as a ‘dance extra’. After that, I joined as a dance tutor to SS Rajamouli’s son and MM Keeravani’s children. Later, Rajamouli offered me ‘Chatrapathi’ and the rest as they say, is history,” said Prem Rakshit Master. He also said that the "Naatu Naatu" song was originally planned with 100 dancers but then they realised there was no need for extras with two of the finest dancers in India, Ram Charan and Jr NTR, shaking a leg together on camera.
