Actor Suriya's humane gesture towards the fishermen is truly inspirational Tamil star Suriya is not only known for his acting skills but also for his philanthropy and generous nature. An ardent advocate of equality and education, Suriya has undertaken numerous welfare activities through his ‘Agaram Foundation’ and he never shies away from giving a helping hand. His recent humane gesture makes us to admire him even more as a person. It is common knowledge that Suriya has joined hands together with director Bala once again for his 41st film. He plays the role of a fisherman in this movie and a ‘set’ of an entire fishing village is being erected for this purpose. Suriya met and interacted with the fishermen in Chennai to prep for the role. In the process, he also came to know about the trials and tribulations of their daily lives and their pathetic socio-economic condition. Reportedly, the Jai Bhim actor has decided that the ‘fishing village’ set will not be demolished after the shooting is over. Instead, the homes would be given away to poor fishermen. Actions speak louder than words, but the words and actions of famous people speak even louder and have a greater impact. When such words and actions, no matter how big or small, are progressive and come from people like Suriya, the world itself evolves. On the work front, Suriya will be seen in a fisherman's role in his 41st film under the direction of Bala, who had given him cult hits such as 'Nanda' and ‘Pithamagan’ (Siva Putrudu in Telugu), while Krithi Shetty will be making her Tamil debut with this movie. This is the third film in combination of Suriya and Bala nearly after nineteen years.
