Hansika Motwani returns to the horror genre for her upcoming releaseDenikaina Ready actress Hansika Motwani’s last few releases haven’t had successful runs at the box office. She is returning to familiar territory with her next project but with an added challenge. For the first time, Hansika will be in a dual role in this film. 'Gandhari', directed by Kannan, is touted to be a horror comedy. The film will be Hansika’s third outing in the horror genre. She started her career as a child actor in the Hindi language horror movie ‘Hawa’. As a lead actress, she worked in the first two parts of the horror movie series ‘Aranmanai’, which were released in Telugu as Chandrakala and Kalavathi, respectively. The first look poster features Hansika in a ferocious avatar. She looks to be possessed and oozes scary vibes. The film is in the post-production stages and will hit the screen on February 23, 2023. In addition to 'Gandhari', Hansika has multiple projects in the pipeline, including 105 Minutes, My Name Is Shruti, Partner and Bogan. Her last Telugu outing was in the 2019 film Tenali Ramakrishna BA BL, co-starring Sandeep Kishan. The film was not a commercial success.
