After a long wait, the makers of Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi's upcoming film 'Virata Parvam' have announced that the film's release date Earlier in 2018, Needi Naadi Oke Katha director Venu Udugula announced that he's set to direct a period love story in the backdrop of Naxalism in the 1990s. Titled Virata Parvam, the movie stars Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles. While the makers of the film had released the first single and the teaser, which thugged the hearts of people, there has been no update about the film so far, until today. The production of the film wrapped up in December 2020, and the release date was set for April 2021. However, due to the COVID-19 surge, the film stood indefinitely postponed. However, after a year of the supposed release, the makers finally made the announcement about the film's release date. Having the tagline of 'Revolution is an act of love', the film is scheduled to release on July 1, 2022, which was revealed by the makers through a poster featuring the leads fighting against all odds. The film is produced by D Suresh Babu and Sudhakar Cherukuri under the banners Suresh Productions and Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas.
