'Darsakendra' K Raghavendra Rao met India's Vice President Venkaiah Naidu to present a copy of his book One of the renowned filmmakers in Telugu cinema, K Raghavendra Rao met the Vice President of India, Mr M Venkaiah Naidu and handed him a copy of his book titled ‘Nenu Cinemaku Rasukunna Prema Lekha’ (The Love Letter I Wrote To Cinema). Sharing a photograph of his meeting with the Vice President, Raghavendra Rao said he was delighted to be presenting his book to the latter. Having directed all major celebrities of the Telugu film industry in a career spanning more than five decades, the book is a compilation of Raghavendra Rao's memories, both good and bad, during his journey as a filmmaker. The book was launched by the illustrious educator, philathropist, author and former Chairperson of Infosys Foundation, Mrs Sudha Murty. Speaking at the time of the launch of the book, Raghavendra Rao said, “I’ve donned many hats over 5 decades of my journey in cinema and finally wanted to pen down my experiences through this book, I hope it will appeal to all readers both from the film industry and otherwise”.
