Director Anil Ravipudi opened up about the rumoured rift with Tamannah which people deemed as the probable cause for the actress' absence during F3 promotions
Tamannaah Bhatia is one of the female leads in the recently released film F3. However, she made headlines when she did not show up for the promotions of ‘F3’ and this led to a speculation whether there was a rift between the actress and director Anil Ravipudi.
In a chat show on television recently, Anil Ravipudi has dismissed the rumour saying that it was unfounded. “I was handling a group of 30 actors on the sets of ‘F3’ and it can get quite stressful at times. When there are so many artistes on location, the shoot does tend to get extended on days. Tamannaah comes from the Mumbai culture which strictly believes in the 9-to-9 call sheet system whereas down South, we tend to be a bit more flexible with the day’s shoot. So, there was a slight issue regarding this and there was a bit of uneasiness between us for two days. This incident was blown out of proportion and projected as a major fight,” said the director.
He further said, “I’m the kind of person who believes that if any artiste has a problem on location, they wouldn’t be able to give their best. So, I approach them first and talk to them and I did the same with Tamannaah. We respect each other. Besides, she did not come for the promotions of ‘F3’ because she had gone to Cannes following which she had to shoot for another film”.
