Puri Jagannadh thanked producer Charmme Kaur for her unflinching support in making 'Liger'
Referred to as the 'Mass-termind' director by Karan Johar, Puri Jagannadh, who is busy promoting his upcoming pan-Indian flick Liger on a pan-India level, spoke highly about his professional partner Charmme at a recent event held in Warangal. He said that the entire credit for bringing Mike Tyson on board for 'Liger', goes to Charmme.
"It took us nearly one year to convince Mike and Charmme took care of everything. The endless talks, hundreds of emails and zoom calls... she took care of it all. The effort she puts in for cinema is more than that of a man. She never shared the difficulties she faced except when the things got out of her hand. There were times when she cried, but she never shared it with me... not only production, she's managing the publicity too. Love you and thank you Charmme," said the popular director.
Puri further talked about the lead actor and said "After watching Vijay in Arjun Reddy, I decided to do a film with him. Vijay's father asked me to treat his son like my own son and told me to make a good movie with him. But Vijay treated me like a father and stood by me in my troubles. I have never seen a hero like Vijay."
While talking about the leading lady of the film Ananya Panday, Puri appreciated her acting skills and also revealed a special cameo by her father Chunky Panday in the film.
He lastly appealed to the fans to watch the fully-loaded masala movie in the theatres.
