Acharya's director Koratala Siva trimmed the role of actress Kajal Aggarwal in the movie, as he felt it was forcefully put in Much-anticipated film Acharya, starring actors Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan in the lead roles, is slated for release on April 29, 2022. The film's pre-release event also took place day before yesterday and it was graced by SS Rajamouli as the Chief Guest, along with the lead cast and crew. What's surprising was that there was no mention of the lead actress Kajal Aggarwal at the event. In addition to that, Kajal Aggarwal was also nowhere to be seen in the trailer of the film that released a few days ago, which led to fans having questions regarding her role in the film. To clarify the doubts of the actress' appearance in the film, director Koratala Siva had admitted that he had trimmed out her role and said "I initially had a funny role written for her, and we also completed the shooting. When I saw the rushes of the film, it felt like her role was not fitting in the film, and there was also no proper justification, therefore, I had made the choice to cut down her role". He also added that he spoke with the actress and took her consent before making the change, and also praised her work ethic and her understanding of the issue. However, the actress will still appear in the film as she will be seen in the Mani Sharma musical "Laahe Laahe", sung by Harika Narayan and Sahithi Chaganti. The filmmaker asked the audience to watch the film to see how she was fit in. Meanwhile, the actress is currently enjoying maternal bliss with the birth of her son Neil Kitchlu, and is currently on a break enjoying quality time with her family.
