Dil Raju Opens Up About Future Collaboration With Jr NTR

“We will try out 2-3 directors and their scripts”

Dil Raju is one of the most recognisable producers in Telugu cinema. He has produced a wide range of films under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations. Now, the ace producer has opened up about a potential collaboration with the RRR actor Jr NTR. The duo had previously collaborated on the movies Brindavanam and Ramayya Vastavayya. 

About the collaboration, Dil Raju said, “NTR and I have a good understanding. We will try out 2-3 directors and their scripts. We will then pick one from the lot and do the project. We wish to collaborate soon.” 

Currently, both Dil Raju and Jr NTR have their hands full. The producer is awaiting the release of ‘Varisu’ (titled Vaarasudu in Telugu) and RC15, which is still in the filming stages. NTR, on the other hand, is busy filming NTR30 in the direction of Koratala Siva. He has another project in the pipeline which will be helmed by KGF fame Prashanth Neel. 

While Dil Raju is known for bankrolling big-budget movies featuring the top stars in the industry, he has also produced some smaller-budget movies. Now, he is also working on launching a new production house - Dil Raju Productions. It will focus specifically on producing small-budget-content-driven films. Balagam will be the first project on the new banner.
