Thalapathy Vijay's 'Vaarasudu' to release after ‘Waltair Veerayya’, and ‘Veera Simha Reddy’ Dil Raju recently stirred up controversy with his recent statements on Tamil actors indirectly targeting Telugu heroes. The ace producer also hit the headlines when he said Vijay is a bigger star than Ajith. The statements did not go down well with both the fans of the Telugu and Tamil stars. Now he seems to be in a damage control mode. Clearing the confusion over Thalapathy Vijay’s Vaarasudu, Dil Raju announced the new release date. In a press conference held today (January 9), Dil Raju informed that the film will release on January 14 after Balarkrishna’s Veera Simha Reddy and Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya.Interestingly, the reason sighted by the ‘Vaarsudu’ producer is not aligning with the statement that he made earlier. Dil Raju said, “As I said previously, our Telugu films need to be given more theatres. So keeping in mind that Veera Simha Reddy and Waltair Veerayya need a huge release. We have now postponed our Vaarasudu. I want every film to be a blockbuster.”He further spoke about the delay in the Telugu version of the film and said, “Vaarasudu copy is ready. The statements of a content delay are false. Today the movie will be censored. Although I can release the movie on the scheduled date, I changed the release date for our Tollywood.’The fans were also agitated with the fact that Dil Raju was releasing a Tamil dubbed film on Sankranti while the lead actor Vijay is not even promoting the film in the Telugu states. The producer clarified, the same, and said, “Thalapathy Vijay, will come to Hyderabad for the promotions. If the film is released on January 11th, it would've been difficult. Now the film is coming on January 14th, so I will bring Vijay for Telugu promotions.”
