Actor Ram Charan expressed his gratitude with a 'Golden Gesture' on the success of RRR
RRR has emerged as one of the biggest hits in the history of Indian cinema and established Ram Charan who played the role of Alluri Sitarama Raju in the movie as a pan-Indian star.
On Sunday, Ram Charan gifted each of the crew from the Direction, Camera and Production departments of the film with one tula gold coin. Well, one tula is equal to 10 grams and by today’s price, one tula gold coin is valued at around Rs 53,000. But it isn’t the price that counts here. Ram Charan gifted these gold coins as a gesture of gratitude for the team who worked hard to breathe life into Rajamouli's dream, and in his inimitable style, the popular actor has once again won the hearts of his fans with this gesture.
Meanwhile, in a bid to sustain the phenomenal run at the box-office, the team of ‘RRR’ has released a new promo of the movie which is as impressive as the original one launched at the time of release. Interestingly, the promo was shared by Alia Bhatt who had created a stir when she unfollowed Rajamouli on Instagram and later ‘followed’ him again. While rumour-mongers had a field day stating that she was miffed with the final output of her role on screen, Alia put the rumours to rest by releasing a statement saying that she had immense respect for Rajamouli and was glad to be a part of his magnum opus.
