It is four years now since the Sukumar-Ram Charan's film Rangasthalam hit the screens. Commemorating the occasion, director Sukumar released a video in which he spoke of his memories associated with the movie.
“The wonderful memories associated with ‘Rangasthalam’ and of shooting with Ram Charan will stay with me forever. We shot in the beautiful Papikondalu region and it was my first film with Ram Charan. He brought my conception of Chittibabu’s character to life in a wonderful way. He is one of the finest actors in Indian cinema today and I am looking forward to collaborating with him again,” said Sukumar.
‘Rangasthalam’ with Ram Charan and Samantha as the leads was a runaway success at the box-office. Charan played Chittibabu, a partially hearing-impaired innocent guy, who gets into a conflict with a dictator-like village head. He sported a bearded look in the film and underplayed the character to make it feel real.
