‘Lady Powerstar’ gets on board to play the leading lady in Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming film which is said to be a ‘rooted loved story’

Makers of Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming film, which is tentatively titled #NC23, have released a video announcing the female lead who joined the film’s cast. They didn’t reveal the heroine’s face, but the hand wearing the prayer beads gave off that it’s none other than the powerhouse performer, Sai Pallavi.

Here’s the announcement made by the production house ‘Geetha Arts’ on social media:

Produced by Bunny Vas under the banner of ‘Geetha Arts’, the Chandoo Mondeti-directorial is based on real-life incidents that took place in a fishermen community in 2018 and the story was penned by a local guy named Karthik. 

Recently, in August, Naga Chaitanya and the director also visited the fishermen families of K Matchilesam village in Srikakulam, as part of their preparations for the film. They spent quality time with the families to understand their lifestyle, land and culture. Earlier reports stated that either Keerthy Suresh or Sai Pallavi might play the female lead in the film and now it's confirmed that the latter will be starring alongside Naga Chaitanya.

#NC23 will be the second film of Sai Pallavi and Naga Chaitanya, who have already worked together on Sekhar Kammula’s ‘Love Story’. Netizens are excited to witness a ‘rooted love story’ in their hit combination.
