The trailer of Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy starrer, Brahmastra, directed by Ayan Mukherjee, was released on June 15
The trailer of the Telugu version of Ayan Mukherjee's directorial ‘Brahmastra Part One: Shiva’ was released on Wednesday and it has been receiving mixed reactions. Some were marvelling at the visual treat that it promises to be, while some were not really impressed. Anyway, the trailer gave a glimpse into the visual extravaganza of the world of astras (weapons).
The powerful forces of Fire, Air and Water elements are cached in the astras and the weapon that is the ‘Guru’ of all these weapons is the ‘Brahmastra’. The mission of safeguarding the ‘Brahmastra’ against some evil forces, is vested in the hands of a secret society who are the embodiments of these astras, especially a young man Shiva (Ranbir Kapoor) who claims that he has a relationship with fire and cannot be consumed by it. He is the ‘Agni Astra (Fire weapon)’ and he comes across Isha (Alia Bhatt), Guru (Amitabh Bachchan) and Anish (Nagarjuna) on his journey, all of whom serve a purpose for him to know his connection with the Brahmastra.Â
Seemingly interspersed with fantasy and time travel, the film's trailer is high on visual effects right from the outset, even as Mega actor Chiranjeevi narrates the plot. All the main characters of the film, the fictional world and the story is introduced in the trailer.Â
Director SS Rajamouli is presenting the film down South which is releasing on September 9.
