The production house released a picture from the sets celebrating the day Chiru first faced the camera
Chiranjeevi is perhaps one of the most popular faces in Tollywood. The actor made his debut with Punadhirallu. Although it wasn’t his first film to hit the silver screen, it was the movie with which Chiranjeevi became an actor. 45 years down the line, the Megastar is still actively working in the industry with several projects in his kitty.
Interestingly, the actor was on sets on the sets of his upcoming movie Bholaa Shankar on February 11, the day he first faced the camera. The makers celebrated the day with Chiru, Keerthy Suresh, who is essaying the role of his sister in the upcoming movie, and KS Ravindra (Bobby Kolli), who helmed the blockbuster Waltair Veerayya, the movie Chiru was last seen on the silver screen in. Sharing an image from the sets to their official Twitter, the makers wrote, “A MEGA click to cherish the MEGA DAY ❤️🔥~ Feb 11th 1978 ~ Mega🌟@KChiruTweets faced the camera for the first time in his life and now after 45 long years, We are privileged & humbled to have him in the #BholaaShankar sets on the same day with the same energy & zeal 🤩(sic).”
‘Bholaa Shankar’ is an official remake of Ajith Kumar’s ‘Vedalam’, which became a blockbuster hit after its release. The Telugu remake also stars Tamannaah as the female lead, with Raghu Babu, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, and Ravishankar playing pivotal roles. ‘Bholaa Shankar’ marks Meher Ramesh’s return to filmmaking after a gap of 9 years. His last project was Shadow starring Venkatesh and Taapsee.
