He is returning to the silver screen as a villain in the upcoming Naga Chaitanya-Krithi Shetty starrer
Arvind Swami is one of the most versatile actors in the industry. He stole hearts with his performance in the Mani Ratnam directorial ‘Roja’ and swept the rug from under people’s feet when he reinvented himself as the antagonist in the 2016 movie ‘Dhruva’ starring Ram Charan.
Now, with the upcoming movie ‘Custody’ helmed by Venkat Prabhu, he will be returning to the silver screen as an antagonist to be reckoned with. The makers released the first look of Arvind Swami as ‘Raju’ aka ‘Raazu’. The poster shows a fearless ‘Raju’ standing behind bars with his hands handcuffed together. He appears to be smoking a joint while staring straight into the camera.
Srinivasaa Silver Screen, the production house bankrolling the film, shared the poster on their official Twitter account with the caption, “Watch out for his Menacing Way!❤️🔥Introducing the Enigmatic @thearvindswami as "Raju aka Raazu" #Custody - A @vp_offl HUNT 🎯(sic)”

Along with Naga Chaitanya and Arvind Swamy, ‘Custody’ features Krithi Shetty as the female lead, while Priyamani and Sarathkumar will be seen in key roles. The film which is slated to release on May 12, will have a bilingual release in Telugu and Tamil. The team wrapped up the filming on February 25 and Chaitanya shared a behind-the-scenes video from the movie set. Check out the post shared by Chay here:
