Says his Metaverse project is geared towards ushering in a more beautiful worldAce composer AR Rahman turns 56 today and the maestro took to Twitter to announce that his Metaverse venture ‘Katraar’ is close to launch. In August, Rahman forayed into the Metaverse universe by announcing Katraar, the details of which are still under wraps. However, he shed some light today on his vision for the future. Twitter Following is the transcript of the video he posted on Twitter:“Katraar means a group of learned people who can change the world. Katraar is also tradition, Katraar has wisdom, Katraar has future, Katraar is a vision! This platform is to bring in new talents, technologies, to generate direct revenue, to help emerging technologies and probably bridge them to the future. This platform is to innovate, this platform is for freedom. The world is opening up and it is important for us to learn new things because that’s going to be the norm of the future. Katraar is a platform to bridge the new and the old, to bridge people who have ideas to possibilities, to expose people with ideas to the world so they can change the world. Art can change the world, creativity can change the world and we are striving to bring in a world which is much more beautiful. Right now, we are working with HBAR Foundation to do many cool things and one of them is bringing in a lot of Non Fungible Tokens (NFTs) which are rare and unique, in music, art, and storytelling. We’re also working on an undisclosed project based on virtual beings so that we can find a whole new expression to thoughts which are trapped in an older form.”
