She revealed that the team filmed the entire movie in a span of 27 days in December of 2021. She said, “Then it took a year for post-production… then all the hurdles happened.” The delays forced the movie to face issues in securing theatres for release forcing the team to go for a digital release instead. She also thanked the film’s director Satish Babu Ghanta for trusting her to lead the movie as a solo female lead. She remarked, “It’s not easy to make a woman-led movie.”Not one to be disappointed by setbacks, Anupama admitted that Disney+Hotstar’s involvement was the best thing that could have happened. The movie got a pan-Indian platform making it accessible to audiences from across the globe. She talked about how the digital release isn’t that much different from a theatrical one, that the nerves still haunt her on the day of release. The only difference is that “I can sit at home, have comfortable food, and chill with my family.”
