Poster promises a village based crime-comedy
‘Annapurna Photo Studio’ takes the viewers back to the old days when every village had a photo studio. Cameras weren’t as accessible and the only way to capture a moment was by going to a photo studio. The nostalgic film is set in the 1980s backdrop.
The movie is produced by Big Ben cinemas, which has to its credit movies like Pelli Choopulu, Dear Comrade and Dorasani. Directed by Chandu Muddu, the movie is a village based crime-comedy. The film’s concept poster captures all the distinguishing features of the movie.
The first look is a sketched image of an odd group of people coming together in front of a photo studio. The mismatched group assembled outside the building gives the impression of a who-dunnit with a comic twist.
Director Harish Shankar released the movie’s poster. He said, “The title sounds refreshing, and it's the first such feeling I am having in a long time. In the old days, every village used to have a photo studio and we used to eagerly wait for our photo every time.”
The film stars Chaitanya Madadi of ‘30 Weds 21’ fame and Lavanya as the female lead.
