After Mohanlal, Sunil actress Tamannaah joins the ensemble cast of Thalaiva's much-awaited film The cast of the Rajinikanth starrer Jailer is getting bigger and bigger. Tamannaah Bhatia is the latest addition to the cast. On January 19 her first look from the highly anticipated film was unveiled. Sharing her character poster the actress wrote, “Finally I can share this with you all… the news is out!!!I am soo sooo happy and honoured to be a part of this movie #Jailer with the one and only Thalaivar @rajinikanth sir directed by @nelsondilipkumar Can’t wait to share this experience with all of you… (sic) " Her fans and followers took to the comment section to congratulate her. Going by the first look, it appears Sunil will be seen as a grey character and might be one of the antagonists in this film.For the upcoming film, Rajinikanth is also teaming up with Ramya Krishnan after 23 years. The duo was previously seen in the classic movie 'Padayappa' (Narasimha) in Telugu. People still remember them as 'Narasimha' and 'Neelambari' from the 1992 blockbuster film. Mollywood superstar Mohanlal is also a part of the stellar cast. Renowned Kannada star Shiva Rajkumar and noted Tamil actors Vasanth Ravi, Vinayakan, and Yogi Babu will be seen essaying pivotal roles. The film truly justifies the tag pan-Indian film as the stellar cast includes actors from various film industries; Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. Nelson Dilipkumar (of Beast fame) is helming the action film while Kalanithi Maran is producing it under the banner of Sun Pictures. Anirudh Ravichander will be composing the film's music.
