'Singham Again' Gets Postponed In order to Avoid Box Office Clash with Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2Ajay Devgn and Deepika Padukone-starrer, Singham Again, which was initially scheduled to release on Aug 15, 2024, now stands postponed and buzz is that the Allu Arjun-starrer, Pushpa 2, is the reason.Initially scheduled to release on August 15, 2024, 'Singham Again' is now pushed to a later date and if the sources are to be believed, the postponement was decided in order to avoid a box office clash with Pushpa 2, which is all set to release worldwide on India's Independence day next year.Singham Again is the third installment in Rohit Shetty's Singham franchise, and the first two films were 'Singham' and 'Singham Returns'. Ajay Devgn will reprise his role as Bajirao Singham in the upcoming release. It is also the fifth film in Rohit Shetty's Cop Universe.Pushpa: The Rise, the first part of in 'Rise of an underdog' film series, was a huge success at the box office, with collections grossing more than 350 crores at the box office worldwide, the film emerged as the highest grossing Indian film of 2021. The second part, Pushpa: The Rule, is expected to be even bigger. Hence, it is said that the makers of 'Singham Again' decided to avoid a clash with Pushpa 2.The makers are yet to announce a new release date which is expected to be in the first half of 2025.
