The Digital Streaming Giant Is On An Aggressive Acquisition SpreeAlthough it’s the chat show “Unstoppable with NBK” that continues to be the flagship show of streaming platform Aha, it is simultaneously bolstering its repertoire by aggressively acquiring new films at the expense of its competitors. Aha has announced three more films in its kitty: Sundeep Kishan’s Michael, Kiran Abbavaram’s Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha and Santosh Shobhan’s Kalyanam Kamaneeyam.First in line is the first Pan-Indian film of Sundeep Kishan titled ‘Michael’, which will be released on Feb 3. Boasting a power-packed cast comprising Vijay Sethupathi, Divyansha Kaushik, Gautam Menon, Varalaxmi Saratkumar and Varun Sandesh, the promotions of the Ranjit Jeyakodi directorial have attracted a lot of attention, to date. Next in line is ‘Kalyanam Kamaneeyam’, which will have a Sankranthi release on January 14, 2023. Priya Bhavani Shankar plays the female lead in the Anil Kumar Aalla directorial.Completing the lineup is ‘Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha’ which is directed by Murali Kishor Abburu and has Kashmira Pardesi as the heroine. The movie will be arriving in theatres on February 17.
