Makers of 'Major' have decided to lower the ticket prices so that more people can watch the biopic on an inspirational human being Sesh Adivi and Saiee Manjrekar-starrer Major is all set for a worldwide release on June 3. It is based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan who was martyred in the gut-wrenching 2008 Mumbai attacks. The makers of the film have decided to lower the ticket prices so that everyone can afford to watch the movie which is about an Indian Army officer who sacrificed his life for a greater cause. The ticket price in single screen theatres in Andhra Pradesh is fixed at Rs 147 whereas it is Rs 150 across theatres in Telangana, for the film. Similarly, the multiplex ticket price in Andhra Pradesh will be Rs 177 and Rs 195 in Telangana, respectively. These are the lowest ticket prices for any film post the pandemic. The makers are hopeful that the reduction in ticket prices will enable family audiences to enjoy the movie on the big screen as well as bringing in repeat audience.
