‘Yamadonga’ actors' Positive Take On Her Battle With autoimmune disorder-Vitiligo Actor-Singer Mamta Mohandas on Sunday revealed she has been diagnosed with vitiligo, a chronic autoimmune disorder that causes the skin to lose its colour. The actor took to Instagram and shared a picture of herself, along with a poem. She addressed her health condition in the post caption.Mamta shared two pictures, donning a casual black T-shirt and track pants she wrote, “Dear ☀️ , I embrace you now like I have never before. So Spotted, I’m losing color… I rise even before you every morning, to see you glimmer your first ray through the haze. In 2013, she had a relapse of cancer and underwent treatment in Los Angeles.The actress made her Tollywood debut with Jr NTR starrer Yamadonga, helmed by maverick SS Rajamouli. She has lent her voice to many Telugu films including Chiranjeevi’s hit song "Akalesthey Annam Pedatha" from Shankar Dada Zindabad, and "King" from Nagarjuna’s ‘King’ amongst others. On the work front, she will be next seen in the Telugu film ‘Rudrangi’ which is currently in the post-production stage.
