At the pre-release event of 'Major', Adivi Sesh shared about a proud moment that he had when he showed the film to the NSG Commandos
Pre-release event of Adivi Sesh's upcoming film which is based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, was held in Vizag on Sunday. At the Major event, Sesh shared a proud moment that he felt when he showed the film to the NSG Commandos in Delhi.
Speaking at the pre-release event, Adivi Sesh narrated “We screened ‘Major’ film for the National Security Guards Commandos in Delhi. There were 312 ‘Black Cat’ commandos and the gate of their headquarters is called ‘Unnikrishnan Dwar’. A statue of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan is located within their premises. They watched the movie in absolute silence. After the screening, I was asked to appear before their Commander. Naturally, I was a bit apprehensive because I didn’t know what they felt about the movie.
The Commander presented me with the ‘Medal of the National Security Guards Commandos’. It’s a Medal from the 26th composite group NSG Mumbai. This Medal means something more than Oscar for me. I don’t need anything else now. This is a compliment from Major Sandeep’s colleagues and I will cherish it for the rest of my life," said the 'Major' actor.
Starring Sesh Adivi, Saiee Manjrekar and Sobhita Dhulipala in the lead roles, ‘Major’ is releasing worldwide on June 3.
